Our Idol – Sergi Bruguera

Sergi Bruguera was the first Spanish player who actually won the Grand Slam singles title. He is famous for winning the 1993 French Open by beating Jim Courier.

Though he is regarded as the best on clay, however, he was also not that bad a player when it came to other surfaces. He was runner-up in other well-known tournaments like the 1996 Summer Olympics (hard surface).

Career Highlights

Why The Website Was Rebuilt In English

The academy has a website of its own which was initially launched in Spanish. However, today the English version of the website is also available. There can be many reasons behind why the website has been launched in English such as growing popularity, the number of English speaking people visiting the page and so on.

However, I have a personal feeling that though the mentioned reasons are valid, the main reason behind the launching of the English website was to promote the Bruguera Training Methodology all over the world.
